Financial Markets: Tax issues relevant to the hedge fund managers
Thursday 11th October 2007
at 10 Queen Street Place London EC4R 1BE

The Finance Act 2003 rewrote the rules which apply to employee incentivisation. Since that time, the tax treatment of employee incentive awards has remained a “hot topic”. These rules and other tax considerations directly impact on the tax efficient structuring of individual managers’ interests in management vehicles and the managed fund. The seminar will consider these issues and look at practical solutions to them.

On 20 July this year HM Revenue & Customs published the long-awaited revisions to the guidance on the Investment Manager Exemption. The seminar will discuss the key changes and practical implications of them.
