Heather Corben is a partner and Head of the Tax Department.

She has wide experience of advising public companies involved in takeovers and group restructuring. She is involved with a broad range of private company transactions, advising on major corporate and asset sales, the structuring of joint ventures and demergers. Heather has extensive experience of giving advice to UK based and overseas investors on the tax implications (including VAT) of property transactions. She advises regularly on tax issues relevant to property limited partnerships and unit trusts. Heather is recommended in The Legal 500 as a good transaction lawyer, with expertise in property. She is a member of The Chartered Institute of Taxation and contributes articles to PLC and other periodicals.
