SJ Berwin Boosts Private Client Tax Capability with High Profile Arrival
Judith was a private client partner in Garretts until the firm ceased trading in May 2002. Since then, Judith has been the sole practitioner of Strand Legal.
Judith comments "I am very much looking forward to joining SJ Berwin. I was very impressed by their future ambitious plans. I have a number of clients in the private equity sector so I'm obviously delighted to be joining a firm with a market leading reputation in this field."
Michael Trask, partner responsible for private client services, commented, "We are delighted that such a highly respected practitioner is joining us. The announcement of Judith's arrival follows the recent return of tax partner, Pat Dugdale, who was previously with SJ Berwin some 13 years ago. With the internal promotion of John Skoulding to a tax partner earlier this year, this brings the number of tax partners to 15 (Eight in the London office, four in Germany, two in Paris and one in Madrid).

SJ Berwin is pleased to announce the arrival of a new partner to its tax practice, Judith Powell. Judith will join on 1st November 2004 as a partner in the private client services team. Bernadette O’Reilly, her assistant, will also be joining SJ Berwin.Judith was a private client partner in Garretts until the firm ceased trading in May 2002.
