SJ Berwin's Media & Communications Group is involved at all stages of the film and television production, right from the development and rights acquisition stages through production, delivery and distribution to help take productions from script to screen.
With significant expertise in the film production sector, the Media & Communications Group has experience of advising a wide range of international clients on studio films and independent productions. Instructions include fictional, documentary and animated works. We regularly work on both the financing and production aspects of a single production.
Television production experience includes development and production work for independent producers and representing broadcasters in their commissioning of television series. The Media & Communications Group's clients in this area range from individual talent and producers through to broadcasters, with clients based in the UK and internationally.
We continue to build on our experience in this area so that we can advise on rights acquisition, forming production entities, cast and crew agreements, location licences, music clearances, script clearances, insurances, employment issues, music publishing, book publishing, sponsorship and distribution.
