Benjamin Aller is a partner in the Paris office, specialising in private equity fund formation.

His experience in this area includes the formation of French fonds communs de placement à risque (FCPR) and the structuring of off-shore limited partnerships. Benjamin began his legal career in 1994 in the Paris office of Salans, Hertzfeld & Heilbronn, where he worked on numerous mergers and acquisitions before developing his expertise in the private equity area.

He often advises funds-of-funds and other institutions investing in private equity funds.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from Yale University in 1990, Benjamin attended the University of Chicago Law School where he obtained his Juris doctorate (J.D.) in 1994. He then earned a Diplôme d'études approfondies (D.E.A.) from the University of Paris in 1995. Benjamin is a member of both the New York and Paris bars.
