Leading corporate and commercial pan European law firm SJ Berwin LLP has enhanced its Employment & Pensions Group with the recruitment of new associate, David Wilman, who is to work in the London office.

David joined SJ Berwin LLP this week as an associate and specialises in both employment and pensions-related matters. 

Before joining SJ Berwin, David served as an officer in the Royal Navy, during which time he qualified as a barrister specialising in employment, employee benefits and other related areas of the law. 

He has significant experience in providing pragmatic legal advice to employers and employees alike.  He has lectured on various aspects of the law to a variety of audiences including government officials from several Baltic States and has represented the UK (RN) in 2004 at the Maritime Trade Organisation Conference in Dubai. 

David is a member of Middle Temple and the Chartered Management Institute, and was recently awarded a Senior Award (Master's equivalent) in Leadership and Management from the City and Guilds Institute.
