Alejandro Hurtado is the Head of the Banking and Financial Services practice at SJ Berwin Madrid and was admitted to the Madrid Bar Association in 1995.
He received his law degree from the Universidad Complutense in Madrid and a Master in Banking and Finance Law from the University of London. His work focuses on mergers and acquisitions, banking and financial services.

A substantial number of listings/public offerings during the nineties as well as, recently in a number of competitive take-overs (including EDP’s successful bid over Hidroeléctrica del Cantábrico and IBERSOL’s bid over TELE PIZZA).

Financing transactions in general and in particular in the context of acquisition finance.

Financial services, giving advice on a regular basis to financial institutions on a day to day basis (e.g. in connection with the setting up of its business as well as with any regulatory aspect of their business).
Alejandro writes on a regular basis in various legal publications and is a speaker in conferences and seminars.
