Before joining SJ Berwin, Meeta worked for eight years as a chartered town planner in the enforcement team at Westminster Council.  She is a member of the Regional Management Board of the Royal Town Planning Institute (London Region).  She is also a trustee and director of Planning Aid for London, a voluntary organisation that provides free, independent and professional town planning advice to communities and individuals.

Meeta qualified as a solicitor into the Planning and Environment Group in February 2006, where she acts on a variety of planning and environmental law issues for developers, land owners and not-for-profit bodies.
