Karsten Seidel is a lawyer (certified in administrative and tax law) and a certified tax adviser (Steuerberater) in the Frankfurt office. He was admitted to German bar in 1998 and to German tax bar in 2005. Karsten started his career in a local law firm in the north of Germany. He then worked in the tax department of Ernst & Young before joining the Frankfurt office of SJ Berwin in 2005.

Karsten advises on the legal and tax aspects of private wealth and estate planning, including trusts and foundations and related international tax issues. Furthermore, he has wide experience in property reorganisations, real estate transactions and tax-efficient structuring of real estate. Additionally, he regularly works in tax audits and tax litigation procedures.
