Dr. Florian Huber is a lawyer in the Munich office of SJ Berwin LLP. Florian specialises in tax law and advises on an a wide range of national and international tax issues especially with respect to fund structures (private equity and venture capital), carried interest arrangements as well as investment funds.

Florian is a German qualified lawyer (Rechtsanwalt) and is also admitted to the New York State Bar. He studied law at the University of Hanover (Germany) and New York University (LL.M. in International Taxation). Florian holds amaster’s degree in business economics (Diplom-Ökonom) from the University of Hanover, School of Economics. He received his doctorate from the University of Osnabrueck. His doctoral thesis concerned the tax treatment of US and German reorganizations. Before joining SJ Berwin LLP in 2006, Florian worked for a UK and a US law firm in Frankfurt.
