Alberto Morano has extensive expertise in the area of mergers & acquisitions, private equity and banking structured finance, advising both large international banking houses and corporations on domestic deals and on the Italian end of international deals.

Morano's clients consist of major foreign and domestic private equity funds, several of the leading investment banks in the U.S. and a number of leading U.S. law firms, for which he acts on a referral basis.

Prior to establishing his practice, Alberto Morano was in-house counsel for Citibank N.A. in Milan, Italy, from 1987 to 1990.

Mr Morano is a frequent speaker on corporate and banking law at various law conferences. He is the author of several publications on the topics of mergers and acquisitions, banking and corporate law.

Morano is not admitted in Italy as a lawyer. He is a Notaio (Notary Public), duly enrolled to the Notary Association of Italy. Educated at the University of Turin Law School (Diploma di Laurea in Giurisprudenza, 1982), his practice areas are Mergers & Acquisitions, Private Equity, Finance, Acquisition Finance and Real Estate.
