Niamh Grogan has extensive experience in advising clients on all aspects of EU and UK competition law, as well as general EU law, and is named as a "Leading Lawyer" in Chambers.

She has considerable expertise in advising on mergers, including strategic issues involved in complex transactions.  Niamh's behavioural antitrust practice spans a broad range of issues including cartels, agency and distribution, and abuse by dominant undertakings.  She is particularly focused on the commercial aspects of competition law and frequently advises companies on their commercial agreements and compliance issues.  Niamh is also part of the Department's leading third party arbitrage practice.

Niamh also has a strong customs/labelling practice and frequently advises clients on non-EU competition and merger law matters notably in Jersey, Africa and the Caribbean.

Niamh obtained her law degree from Trinity College, Dublin and a post graduate degree in EU and Competition Law from the University of Amsterdam.
