Nick Brown is an Australian Associate in the Corporate Finance Department. Nick has Commerce and Law degrees from the University of Sydney and a Master of Laws from the University of New South Wales.  Nick joined SJ Berwin in 2007 having previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers Legal in Sydney, Australia.

Nick deals with all aspects of corporate finance M&A work, company and business acquisitions and disposals, venture capital, joint ventures, reorganisations and MBOs.  He advises both companies and corporate finance/broking houses and sponsors.

Recent transactional experience includes advising Hermes on its participation in the £4.2 billion winning consortium bid for Southern Water, First State Investments on its participation in the £1.64 billion winning consortium bid for United Utilities Electricity and European Capital on the £225m acquisition of the Hillarys Blinds business.
