Tim Wright is a partner in the Corporate Finance Department of SJ Berwin LLP. Tim qualified in 1993 and joined SJ Berwin LLP as a partner in 2004, having previously been a partner in Clifford Chance’s private equity team for 3 years.

Tim advises private equity houses and management teams on buy-outs, buy-ins, public-to-private transactions and corporates on M&A deals within the UK and internationally.

Recent deals include advising First State Investments on its participation in the £1.64 billion winning consortium bid for United Utilities Electricity, advising Duke Street Capital on the public to private of Oasis Healthcare plc, the secondary buy out of 2e2 plc and the LBO of Burton's Biscuits, advising European Capital on the acquisitions of Farrow & Ball and Hillary's Blinds, advising STAR Capital on the disposal of BUS A.B. and advising the management teams of Gartmore, Inchcape Shipping Services and Focus.
