Teresa Weeks is an Associate in SJ Berwin LLP's Planning and Environment Group.

Teresa advises a wide range of clients on both planning and environmental law matters.  Her experience includes dealing with planning and compulsory purchase issues in relation to large development and infrastructure projects, and advising on planning and environmental aspects of real estate, corporate and finance transactions. Teresa also advises on climate change issues, including emissions trading. She has acted for developers, investors, utilities and public sector clients.

Teresa has an M.Phil in Environmental Policy (distinguished performance) from Cambridge University.

Teresa has previous experience in both the private and public sector. She has worked as a consultant to the UK Government on the implementation of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme and in private  practice advising on major infrastructure projects, road pricing and water resources. She qualified as a barrister and solicitor in New Zealand in 2002 where she worked at Chapman Tripp.
