Emilce Vega is an associate at the Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences Group and she is based in London.

Emilce is a UK and Irish qualified solicitor and specialises in intellectual property, commercial law and in particular, regulatory issues in life sciences transactions.  Emilce has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, joint ventures and the full range of early to late stage R&D, partnering and commercialisation agreements in the life sciences industry and advises a wide range of pharmaceuticals and healthcare clients.

Emilce qualified as a solicitor with Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP in England.  Prior to becoming a solicitor, she began her career as a scientist, having qualified with a first class honours degree and a M.Sc. in molecular genetics.  She then spent four years as a research scientist at Oxford University.  Emilce attended the Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice at Bristol University in 2007. 

Emilce was admitted to practice in England and Wales in 2003 and in Ireland in 2004.
