Thomas focuses on M&A transactions in which he has extensive experience, including management and leveraged buy-outs as well as general corporate matters. Thomas' clients include private equity houses and management teams as well as medium-sized enterprises, corporations and entrepreneurs.

Thomas studied at University Passau. Prior to joining SJ Berwin in 2001, Thomas was partner of another leading international law firm (1995-2001) following gathering
experience as inhouse counsel of a large German utility (1991-1995).
