Sheldon Mills is a senior associate in the EU and competition department.
Sheldon has advised on a broad range of EU, competition and regulatory matters including mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, co-operative arrangements, commercial agreements, behavioural issues and cartels. Sheldon has extensive experience of merger filings with the European Commission, UK's Office of Fair Trading and Competition Commission and multi-jurisdictional merger work. Sheldon has also worked on Competition Act cases before the UK's Office of Fair Trading and been involved in market investigations. He also has experience of competition and anti-dumping litigation before the Competition Appeal Tribunal and European Courts. This work has involved advising clients in a number of sectors including telecommunications, technology, energy, FMCG, media, financial services, mining, heavy industries and services.
Sheldon has an LLB (Hons) Law (1997), MA in European Law (with distinction) (1998) and post-graduate diploma in competition law (2002), all gained at King's College, University of London. Sheldon qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2001 and joined SJ Berwin in January 2007, prior to this he worked at a leading US law firm in London.
