Ed Harris is a partner in SJ Berwin's Corporate Finance Department. Ed joined SJ Berwin in March 2005 having previously been a senior assistant in Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer's corporate finance department.

Ed advises on a broad range of corporate transactions, with particular focus on multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions and leverage buy outs. Recent highlights include advising Duke Street Capital on the LBOs of Burton's Food and The Original Factory Shop, Associated British Foods on its acquisition of the European assets of the yeast business of Gilde Bakery Ingredients, management on $900 million LBO of Aibel Limited (leading provider of products and services to the upstream oil and gas industry) to Ferd Private Equity, TH Global plc (formerly Kvaerner plc) on the sale of heavy engineering business DavyMarkham to Endless LLP, Zouk Ventures on the sale of YAC Limited, an Irish telecommunications company, to j2 Global Ireland Limited and in relation to an investment in Nanotron Technologies GmbH.
