Robert qualified into the Commerce and Technology Group in 2004 having completed his training contract at SJ Berwin.

Robert works on a variety of commercial agreements and intellectual property matters for clients across a wide variety of industry sectors, with a particular emphasis on technology related transactions and general intellectual property exploitation. His experience includes IT related agreements, outsourcing services agreements, agency and distribution agreements, sponsorship agreements and advising on data protection and e-commerce issues.

Robert spent a year seconded to a FTSE 250 company acting as sole legal counsel, where he advised primarily on commercial, technology and intellectual property related matters including web based software applications, system integrations and interactive television platforms.

Robert has a first class honours in History and Economics from the University of Manchester.
