Daniel Greenaway is an associate in the Private Equity Institutions Group of the Corporate Finance Department. He specialises in advising fund managers on the establishment and structuring of private equity funds, mezzanine funds and fund of funds using limited partnerships and other European vehicles and has experience advising on the establishment and operation of tax efficient holding companies. Daniel has also advised on carried interest arrangements, secondary transactions and fund leveraging.  Daniel acts for a number of major clients of the firm including Lion Capital, 3i, Hermes Private Equity and Babson Capital (on the raising of their first dedicated European mezzanine fund at Euro 800m).

Daniel studied Economics at Leeds University and spent a year and a half as a tax associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer before joining SJ Berwin in May 2005.
