Manuela Finger joined the Frankfurt office in 2007 from Freshfields Bruckhaus
Deringer. She is an associate in the IP/IT/Commercial group.

Manuela advises brand owners in all areas of intellectual property protection and
information technology, including advice in trademark, patents, copyright, design
and competition law. She also advises on all aspects of data protection law.

Manuela graduated from the University of Constance. She took her second state
exam in law in Stuttgart in 2000 and afterwards worked for five years as an
assistant professor at a chair for civil law, commercial law and international
commercial law with a special focus on intellectual property law. In 2005, Manuela
obtained a Master of Laws in European Intellectual Property Law (LL.M.) at the
University of Stockholm.

Manuela is an active member in GRUR, the German Association for Intellectual
Property and Copyright Law.
