Daniel joined SJ Berwin LLP's Planning & Environment Group in September 2005. Prior to joining SJ Berwin he had worked for both the private sector and local authorities.

He has advised a wide range of clients from both the private and public sectors in relation to infrastructure and other large development projects.  Daniel advises on planning, highways, environmental and compulsory purchase law and practice. His work has included complex planning agreements, advising on environmental impact assessments, and planning and environmental due diligence work for corporate and property transactions. Schemes on which Daniel has worked include port and airport expansions, town centre mixed use developments, business parks and large scale sustainable urban extensions. He also has experience of planning enforcement from all sides having acted for enforcing authorities, recipients of enforcement action and interested parties.
