Mario Botte is a Partner in the Real Estate department of SJ Berwin LLP.

His activity mainly includes real estate acquisitions and disposals planning, development and construction.

He offers comprehensive advice on all aspects of real estate investment acquisition and disposal projects (both assets deals and share deals), including choice of vehicle, tax structuring, financing, complex lease negotiations and exit strategies. He also gained a considerable expertise in drafting and negotiating asset and portfolio management agreements as well as property, facility and global services management agreements.

He also provides legal services in the following collateral field: administrative law, zoning, environment and safety, covering all aspects of town and country planning and environmental law.

He has extensive expertise in advising on some of the market's largest and most complex development projects as well as private development initiatives, including development of commercial centres. He also assists clients in drafting and negotiating agreements with contractors, subcontractors and consultants.

Before joining SJ Berwin LLP as a partner, Mario was an associate in a well known Italian boutique law firm and in-house counsel and manager of the real estate closing department in subsidiary companies of Goldman Sachs Group.

Educated at the University of Milan "Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore", Mario was admitted as lawyer in 2000.
