Adrian Brettell is a partner in the Tax Department. He has wide experience of advising on the taxation aspects of corporate and property transactions: in particular property collective investment structures.

He also advises on taxation aspects of transactions in a wide range of other areas including financing transactions, intellectual property, litigation settlements and investment structures.

He has written articles on various topics including deep discount securities, the taxation of litigation settlements and the payment of rent to non-residents.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation.

Qualified 1987; a partner at SJ Berwin since 1997.
