In Italy, our team of lawyers are based in Milan and Turin and provide legal services focusing on the Italian, European and international market place. 

Our focus is to provide expert legal advice in the fields of private equity, M&A, acquisition finance, real estate, corporate and labour law. Our team will expand to include EU & competition law shortly. 

Our clients range from local entrepreneurial companies and financial institutions to international organisations. For the second year running, we have been named "Law Firm of the Year" at the EVCA/Real Deals Private Equity Awards. The award recognises an excellent year for the private equity team at SJ Berwin. Over the past 12 months we have acted on more than 120 private equity transactions, we have advised on many high-profile fund raisings and we have been actively involved in lobbying national and European governments on issues affecting the private equity industry.
