Boris' principal areas of practice are securities and stock corporation law as well as M&A. He regularly represents issuers and shareholders in public equity offerings and stock exchange listings. He also advises listed stock corporations on corporate and compliance matters. Furthermore, Boris represents bidders and target companies in M&A transactions, public takeover bids and going-private transactions.
After completing his legal education at the universities of Hamburg and Lausanne (Switzerland), Boris was admitted to the bar in 1998. Prior to joining SJ Berwin in 2007, he had been a local partner at a major US law firm for five years, after having worked for a national law firm as well as a leading international accounting firm.
