We have built our reputation as an innovator in real estate funds and structuring transactions through the pioneering use of offshore unit trusts as a mechanism of investment as well as the use of hybrid partnership-unit trust structures. This played an important part in the introduction of REITs and worked on the first substantial non-conversion REIT that was to be launched in the market.
Continually engaged in work of the highest calibre, we have been involved in numerous complex structuring transactions including:
- the establishment of real estate funds,
- structured acquisitions and disposals often involving offshore trusts, partnerships or a combination of the two,
- the cross-border repackaging of cash flows and property derivatives, and
- having extensive involvement in the establishment of pan-European funds and their subsequent acquisitions and disposals.
