The Commercial Lease Code introduced in April this year could have far reaching consequences for the property industry. As a voluntary code, it is up to the industry to find a way of making it work in practice. If we fail to take this "last chance", there is a real threat that the Government will bring in legislation to bring about the changes they believe are needed. How do the players in the market view the Code?
