Litigation Forum: Effective Interim Relief
Tuesday 3rd October 2006
at 10 Queen Street Place London EC4R 1BE

Background

An injunction is an extremely flexible remedy and the English court is showing a willingness to extend the scope of interim relief to ensure its effectiveness. Parties can, and should, take steps to ensure that the orders they seek are tailored to their needs. It is also important to be aware of the conditions that may be imposed by the court should it decide to grant the interim relief sought

The programme will start with Nicola Bridge who will provide practical tips for successfully freezing assets in support of domestic and foreign proceedings.

David Rose will then go on to consider recent developments in the practice and procedure relating to interim injunctions and search orders.
