Programme

A series of seminars, coast to coast, focusing on the practicalities for US litigators of representing their clients in arbitrations worldwide.

The speakers are international arbitration specialists with a wealth of first-hand experience of representing clients (and/or acting as arbitrators) in arbitrations in Europe, the UK, Scandinavia, Russia, India, China and the USA.

The presentations will touch on the major institutional rules (ICC, CIETAC, Stockholm Institute, UNCITRAL, LCIA and others) and compare practices in both the conduct of arbitration and court oversight in different major jurisdictions to US practice under the new JAMS and AAA rules. Numbers are limited on a first come first served basis for a two hour seminar.

Participants will have the opportunity to speak to panellists individually during the refreshment break and at the drinks reception following the session.
