About Us:
SJ Berwin's Property Litigation group forms part of the overall service provided by the Real Estate division. The group acts for all the division's main clients, from advising on the efficacy of sale and purchase provisions or proposed new lease terms to the conduct of full court proceedings to resolve disputes.

Our Reconstruction & Insolvency department comprises contentious and non-contentious specialist restructuring and insolvency lawyers, well known for our expertise in acting for large investors, venture capitalists, private equity houses, financial institutions (including asset based lenders), accountancy firms, creditors and other stakeholders.
We frequently advise on insolvency risk structuring turnarounds, rescue packages and re-financings; corporate reconstructions and schemes of arrangement; asset sales; formal insolvency processes including receiverships and administrations, solvent and insolvent liquidations and voluntary arrangements; asset based lending, financings and exits; directors’ duties and disqualification proceedings; transaction avoidance; insolvency litigation and debt recovery and enforcement.
