SJ Berwin sponsored and spoke at a conference held at St John's College, Cambridge on 8 March 2002.
The subject of the conference was "How Does Law Matter for VC Finance", and the keynote speaker was Hermann Hauser of Amadeus Capital Partners.
This unique event brought together academics, venture capitalists and practicising lawyers to discuss the impact of law and regulation on venture capital and growth companies.
The event, which cemented links between the University and the venture capital community, was an initiative of three organisations within Cambridge University - the Centre for Business Research, the Centre for Corporate and Commercial Law and the University of Cambridge Entrepreneurship Centre.
