ViewPoint Capital Partners' new fund consisting of ViewPoint Growth II L.P. and ViewPoint Growth II C.V. (the "Fund") held its first closing on 31 July 2007, with total aggregate commitments to the Fund currently amounting to €80,850,000. The Fund's investment focus is on fast growing software technology and software related service companies in the German-speaking countries of Europe, the Benelux countries and Denmark.

The investors are Access Capital Partners, BNP Paribas, Capvent, Caisse Nationale des Caisses d'Epargne, Credit Suisse, CSG, Fortis/MeesPierson, Greenpark and RWB.

The Fund will focus on making equity and equity-related investments in expansion and later stage entrepreneurial companies developing or applying leading-edge information technology with high-growth potential. Transactions will typically be in the range of €6 million to €9 million.

Lead legal counsel to the Fund was SJ Berwin LLP who advised on the structuring of the Fund, the key documentation and negotiations with investors. The SJ Berwin LLP team was headed by partner Sonya Pauls from the Munich office who was assisted by associates Olivia Böhm and Gregory Barclay.

The Fund was also advised by Dutch counsel Loyens & Loeff, Delaware counsel
