SJ Berwin LLP advised long standing client Plasmon plc on its placing of 100,000,000 new ordinary shares on the official list raising approximately £10,000,000 for the purposes of funding the Company’s sales execution strategy and the continued development of its Archive Storage product range.

In addition to its investment in a direct customer-facing sales and service channel and its development commitments, Plasmon intends to fund the working capital requirements of Plasmon and strengthen Plasmon’s finances to provide confidence in its long-term growth prospects and viability to customers.

The SJ Berwin team was led by corporate partner Jonathan Djanogly, assisted by associate Johnathan Webber.  Plasmon entered into a placing agreement with Kaupthing Singer & Friedlander Capital Markets Limited under which Kaupthing agreed to use reasonable endeavours to find placees for the new ordinary shares issued pursuant to the Placing.  Kaupthing was advised by Travers Smith LLP.
