SJ Berwin LLP Advises Londonewcastle on £210 Million Development Sites

Mixed-use developer Londonewcastle has secured four London sites with estimated developed value of £210 million.

The developer, which is backed by Bank of Scotland Corporate and Chelsfield Partners has acquired:

  • the private residential elements of Legal & General’s Central St Giles Court scheme in the West End.  This forms part of the major Renzo Piano designed mixed-use development project.  Londonewcastle will work with joint venture partner Modern City Living on this scheme. 

  • the Ink Building, off Ladbroke Grove in West London from architecture firm Quad.  The building will comprise 57 new-build flats, due for completion at the end of 2008.

  • a serviced office building at 500 Chiswick High Road, West London from a local private investor.

  • the Goldhawk Road Industrial Estate in West London from British Land.

Real Estate Partner Nick Minkoff led the SJ Berwin real estate team, advising Londonewcastle on all of the above deals, assisted by Senior Associates Richard Lloyd, Natasha Kamm and Madonna Kinsey.
