Today SJ Berwin is enjoying a double celebration after winning two prestigious awards at different ceremonies in London last night. We were named "UK Law Firm of the Year" at the Chambers Global Awards and “Private Equity Team of the Year” at the inaugural Financial News Legal Awards. 

The Chambers Global Awards are one of the most prestigious industry awards in the legal calendar, honouring the world’s leading lawyers.  The Firm was recognised as having confidently grown beyond the mid-tier ranks on the back of four successive years of an exceptionally strong financial performance and an increase in the quality and complexity of deals it is now doing.

The Financial News Legal Awards were decided by an extensive panel of Financial News readers together with a select client panel. SJ Berwin was voted a clear winner by the industry for both funds and transactional pre-eminence.
