SJ Berwin has advised funds managed by Catalyst Fund Management and Research Limited ("Catalyst") (Andrew Mainwaring and Simone Crofton) on their investment in the equity share capital of Prophit Share Limited ("Prophit Share").

Prophit Share was formed in 1999 from the Group Data Department of Eagle Star Insurance. Prophit Share provide Customer Relations Management (CRM) software and consultancy and have developed a CRM software application "Prophesise", and have clients drawn from Blue Chip and National Corporations and beyond. Following completion of the investment, Eagle Star will retain an interest in Prophit Share.

Raymond McKeeve led the SJ Berwin team of lawyers, which included Richard Youle. TLT Solicitors David Pester and John Wood advised Prophit Share and existing management.

Commenting on the transaction, Raymond McKeeve said "We are delighted to have advised Catalyst on its investment in Prophit Share. This is the first transaction on which we have been instructed by Catalyst. We have all enjoyed working with Simone and Andrew and we hope to continue working with them on future transactions".
