S J Berwin & Co's Sports Business Group co-hosted a reception at Football Expo in Cannes on Wednesday, 31 January with Sport Business, one of the sponsors of the event.

Over 300 guests were present, representing a cross section of the world football community and press, who were assembled in Cannes for the week. These included representatives of FIFA, the FA, and the PFA, as well as former soccer stars Ray Wilkins and Chris Waddle.

Topics covered at Football Expo included racism and hooliganism in football, investment in soccer clubs and the abolition of transfer fees, on each of which S J Berwin's Sports Business Group has advised.
