Corporate Team of the Year (Mid Markets) SJ Berwin has advised funds managed by long-standing client Zouk Ventures Limited, a specialist pan-European technology investor, on the sale of YAC Limited ("YAC"), an Irish telecommunications company to j2 Global Ireland Limited ("j2"), a wholly owned subsidiary of NASDAQ listed j2 Global Communications Inc for an undisclosed sum.

YAC develops and sells a range of hosted telecommunications services including Inbound Call Management, Fax to Email, Virtual Numbers, Audio Conferencing and Personal Numbers.

Corporate partner, Ed Harris led the team assisted by associate Scott Gibson.

SJ Berwin continues to strengthen its relationship with Zouk Ventures Limited, after the London and Berlin offices also advised them on an investment in Nanotron Technologies GmbH ("Nanotron"), a leader and innovator in the design, manufacturing, and sales of world-class ultra-low energy wireless products for logistics, industrial and healthcare applications, headquartered in Berlin.
