SJ Berwin are acting as planning law advisors to the London Eye Company (a new client of the firm) on its proposal to retain the BA London Eye on a permanent basis at its current Thames-side location. The London Eye Company submitted applications for planning permission to the London Borough of Lambeth on 10 December.

Planning and Environment Group partner Simon Ricketts is leading SJ Berwin's work on the project.

He said: "The Eye is one of the UK's most popular tourist attractions and a symbol for modern London. I am proud to be playing a part in securing its longterm future".
