Leading City firm SJ Berwin is pleased to announce the appointment of a senior lawyer, Angela Stallard, to join the firm's Reconstruction & Insolvency Group.

Angela joins the team headed by Stephen Maffey from Ashurst Morris Crisp where she has been involved in a broad range of matters, advising directors of Plc's and limited companies, venture capital houses, banks and insolvency practitioners.

Since its formation, the Reconstruction & Insolvency Group has grown considerably and now counts 2 partners and 7 dedicated fee earners and has acted in several major headline matters such as Barings, Drake Insurance, Tempo, Aduronet, Swindon Town Football Club.
