SJ Berwin acted for PricewaterhouseCoopers, the administrators of the Tempo Group of companies in their petition for Administration on 24 September 2001.

Tempo is a familiar name in many High Streets in SE England. The group, with a turnover of about £150m, employs approximately 800 people in its 37 stores. The group continues to trade, and it is very likely that there will be a number of interested purchasers.
