SJ Berwin LLP Solicitor Appointed as Board Member of The Film Agency of Wales

SJ Berwin LLP is delighted to announce the appointment of Angharad Evans, a solicitor within the firm's Media & Communications Group, as a Board Member of Film Agency of Wales, a new agency established by the Arts Council for Wales (ACW) and Welsh Development Agency.

The agency's aim is to "ensure that Wales can be more effective in developing talent and in making feature films" and is expected to be operational by 1 April 2006 with Board Members taking seat for an initial term of 3 years. The agency will provide exhibition support, promote film education, fund film festivals and work with young filmmakers trying to break into the industry.
