TLcom Capital LLP's new fund TLcom II L.P. (the "Fund") held its first closing on 31 October 2007, with total aggregate commitments to the Fund currently amounting to €51,100,000. The Fund's investment focus is on investing in communications and related technology segments in Europe and Israel in order to build global winners.

Key investors who have committed to the Fund at the first closing include institutional investors Access Capital Partners, the European Investment Bank, Finlombarda and IDeA Capital and its associates.

The Fund will predominantly invest in early stage and pre-revenue ventures, with a target equity deployment averaging €6 to €12 million per portfolio company.

Lead legal counsel to the Fund was SJ Berwin LLP who advised on the structuring of the Fund, the key documentation and negotiations with investors. The SJ Berwin LLP team was headed by partner Sonya Pauls from the Munich office who was assisted by associates Olivia Boehm and Gregory Barclay.

The Fund was also advised by Scottish counsel Burness LLP.
