SJ Berwin is pleased to announce the appointment of Lovells partner, Thomas K. Schrell, as Head of Banking and Finance in Germany. This further expansion of an already highly successful practice in Germany enables SJ Berwin to offer top level acquisition finance advice, further strengthen the M&A and Private Equity practice and strongly reinforces the firm's strategic vision in Europe.

Thomas Schrell joins SJ Berwin with a distinguished career. Prior to working at Lovells' Frankfurt office, he was with two major international law firms, working both in their German and London offices.

Thomas' practice focuses on acquisition finance, other finance transactional work, as well as buy-out work. He concentrates on bank-facing acquisition finance work and has worked on highly complex acquisition finance transactions for some of the leading debt providers, also covering the borrower's side of the lending work.
