SJ Berwin LLP Advises on £100 Million Major Redevelopment of West Oxford

European law firm SJ Berwin LLP's real estate division has been instructed by Christ Church, Oxford to advise on its development agreement with Spring Urban Regeneration for a £100 million major redevelopment of Christ Church’s land holdings around Frideswide Square, adjacent to Oxford's railway station.

The redevelopment is set to redesign the square, creating a gateway to the city, and will include a mixture of hotels, shops, restaurants and new housing.   It is anticipated that the development will begin in 2011 (following receipt of planning permission) and is expected to run for 18 months.
